Privacy Policy

Privacy, in plain English.

Effective date: October 2, 2026

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use p27design.com. The site is run by me, Adam Hardegree. P27 Design is a business of Hardegree LLC, based in Orange Park, Florida.

Short version: I collect only what you choose to send me. There are no ad pixels, no tracking cookies and no analytics on this site. I don't sell your information or share it for advertising. A few outside services do the jobs this site can't do alone (sending the forms, answering the chat, taking payments), and each one is listed below with what it sees.

What I collect, feature by feature

The contact form

When you send the form on the contact page, it goes through Formspree, a form service, which emails it to me and keeps a copy in my Formspree account. That includes what you type, such as your name, email, phone, organization, the services you're interested in, and your notes. Like any web request, Formspree also receives your IP address and basic browser details, and it uses them to filter spam. There's also a hidden field that only bots fill in, so I can throw out automated junk.

After you submit, your first name is handed to the thank-you page using your browser's session storage (it stays in that one tab) so the page can say "Thanks, [your name]." The thank-you page deletes it as soon as it reads it. Your name is never put in the page address.

The AI Time-Leak Checklist

When you sign up for the free AI Time-Leak Checklist, the form works the same way as the contact form: it goes through Formspree, which emails it to me and keeps a copy in my Formspree account, along with your IP address and basic browser details for spam filtering. I only use what you send for what the signup form says it's for, and you can ask me to stop emailing you or to delete it at any time.

The estimate calculator

The estimate tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you pick is sent to me or saved. If you click "Email me this estimate," your own email app opens with the estimate written out, and nothing is sent unless you press send yourself.

The AI chat assistant

The chat button on this site is a demo assistant. When you send a message, your message and the conversation so far go to a small program I run on Cloudflare Workers. That program passes the conversation to Anthropic's Claude API, which writes the reply, and sends the reply back to your browser.

  • I don't log or save chat transcripts. The conversation lives in your open browser tab and disappears when you close or reload the page. When something goes wrong, the program records only the kind of error, never what you wrote.
  • Your IP address is seen by Cloudflare, because that's how any request reaches the program. To stop abuse, the program counts messages per IP address in Cloudflare's storage and limits each address to 15 messages an hour. That counter deletes itself automatically after about an hour.
  • Anthropic processes the text of the conversation to write the reply. The request comes from Cloudflare's servers, not your device, so I don't pass your IP address to Anthropic. Anthropic doesn't use API data like this to train its models, and it keeps API data according to its own privacy policy.
  • Please don't type passwords, payment details, health information, or anything else sensitive into the chat. It's for questions about my services.

Booking a call

The "Book a free call" links open my booking page on Calendly. Anything you enter there (name, email, answers, the time you pick) is collected by Calendly and shared with me so I can show up to the call. Calendly is a separate site with its own cookies and privacy policy.

Payments

Some buttons ("Pay & start now," "Subscribe now") open a payment page hosted by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site or me. Stripe tells me who paid, the amount, your email, and basic card details like the brand and last four digits, so I can match the payment to your project and send receipts.

Email

If you email me at hello@p27design.com, I receive whatever you send, in my email account.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by SiteGround. Like almost every web host, its servers automatically record basic request logs: IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. Those logs are used for security and troubleshooting, and SiteGround keeps them for a limited time under its own policy. I don't use them to profile visitors.

Visit statistics

This site doesn't use visit statistics today. If I turn them on, I'll use Cloudflare Web Analytics and update this policy the same day. It counts page views along with basic details like the page you viewed, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your country. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't use your browser's storage, and doesn't follow you to other sites. It shows totals, not a record of you.

Google Search Console

I use Google Search Console to see how the site shows up in Google search: which searches it appears for and how often people click through. That data comes from Google's own search results pages, in summary form. Search Console doesn't add any tracking code or cookies to this site. (The one Google tag in the page code only proves to Google that I own the site.)

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

This site doesn't set cookies, doesn't run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising tags, and doesn't record sessions or heat maps. There's no analytics tool on the site today. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts, so loading a page doesn't contact Google. The only browser storage the site uses is the one-tab first-name handoff described above.

Calendly and Stripe set their own cookies on their own pages when you visit them. Those are covered by their policies, linked below.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because this site doesn't track you across other websites or over time, there's nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. I treat every visitor as if those signals were on. I don't sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Who your information goes to

I don't sell, rent, or trade your information. These are the only outside services that handle it, and only for the jobs described above:

If we work together, I'll also keep your contact details and project files in the everyday tools I use to run the business, like my email and file storage. I'll only share your information with anyone else if you ask me to (for example, looping in your webmaster) or if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Form messages and checklist signups: kept in my email and Formspree account as long as I need them to reply to you and for normal business records. You can ask me to delete yours at any time by emailing hello@p27design.com.

Client records: kept as long as the law requires (tax and accounting records are typically kept for seven years in the U.S.) and as long as they're useful for ongoing work.

Chat: I don't keep transcripts. The per-IP message counter deletes itself after about an hour. Anthropic keeps chat data according to its own privacy policy, linked above.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to:

  • Tell you what information I have about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your information (except what I'm legally required to keep)
  • Stop contacting you

Email hello@p27design.com with "Privacy request" in the subject and I'll respond within five business days. I won't treat you any differently for asking.

California residents

Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): this policy is linked from every page of the site; it lists the kinds of information collected and the outside services that receive it; you can review or correct your information by emailing me; it explains how the site responds to Do Not Track signals (above); and it shows its effective date. If I change it, I'll update that date and post the new version here.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent me something, email me and I'll delete it.

Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted on the way. The form, chat, booking, and payment services above all use HTTPS too. No system is perfectly secure, but I keep what I collect small, which keeps the risk small.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the effective date at the top and describe what changed.
